A Rambling Leaf
About Author.
My name is Aadam Andrew Macnaughton Forgan.

I am passionate about the human spirit, the persistence of nature and its silent language, the journey of the soul and its divine source.

Through writing, I aim to:
-
Cultivate imagination, inspiration, and contentment within a piece of the garden.
-
Build presence within myself so that bridges may reach me.
-
Sharpen the edge of my gratitude by tracing its journey.
-
Be true to myself.

Education.
1981 - to date
University of life.
My education is the product of all those who cultivated me, starting with my beloved parents, and expanding into the vast ocean of human consciousness, every wind’s distinct whisper shaping the sails of my understanding and guiding me towards seeking my own truth.

I started working with my hands from the age of 16 in 1997, from landscaping, hard labour, surfboard finishing, boat building and construction, only eventually attending formal education from 2005 and studied for a National Diploma in Building which I completed Cum Laude at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2009, completing my Baccalaureus Technologiae in Quantity surveying in 2010, with most effort in research methodology and applied building sciences.

In the words of one of my respected lecturers, "education is not about remembering every word, its about developing a practice of continuous learning, there are no certainties, only the habit of seeking."

I remain a student of life, and a labourer in the service of divine love.
